March 24, 2010 - Windows 7 Pro Compatibility
We do not recommend upgrading to Windows 7 Pro at this time to operate your
Benefits Administration software or other custom applications. Please remain on
your current Microsoft Windows version until thorough testing can be completed.
We will keep you informed of the progress of testing our software with the
latest Microsoft release. If you plan to upgrade your server or purchase a new
one please consult with Support first.
March 24, 2010 - New HIPAA Standards
On January 1, 2012, the health care industry will be required to conduct the
current HIPAA electronic transaction (Version 4010A1), claims submission,
remittance advice, eligibility, claims status, referral authorization and others
using the upgraded version 5010.
Byrne Software Technologies is diligently analyzing, planning and working on
activities to help your organization become compliant. The 5010 standards is
also a prerequisite for implementing the new ICD-10 codes which go in effect
October 1, 2013.
